Recently, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra spoke extensively about her life and profession in an interview with Filmigyan and also spoke about Priyanka. During a fun segment, the host asked some Bollywood celebrities to describe them by giving hashtags. When the host took the name of Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti, Madhu Chopra said:

When asked about Parineeti and Raghav‘s wedding, Madhu Chopra revealed that it was a beautiful, simple ceremony that went off without any hitches. On whether Parineeti was disappointed by Priyanka’s absence, Madhu Chopra revealed that the two cousins have a deep understanding and respect for each other, being professionals in the same industry. In her words:
“No, both are career women, they understand. They both are professionals and they know their limitations.”

During the same segment, Madhu Chopra referred to Raghav Chadha as “Arre bada badhiya, biba bachcha hai”. When the host asked how he is as a person, she said that the politician is a highly educated person and speaks well in both Hindi and English. She also revealed that Raghav has a sense of humour. The host further asked how Parineeti and Raghav are as a couple. Answering the question, Madhu Chopra said:
“Absolutely perfect. They’ve found the perfect partnership. They share a beautiful relationship, and I’m really happy for that. They’re perfect for each other.”

In the same conversation, Madhu Chopra also spoke about Priyanka’s marriage with Nick Jonas. The American singer personally came to Mumbai to shake hands with Priyanka for marriage. Madhu Chopra told that she was surprised by Nick’s personality and was not ready when Nick said that he wanted to marry Priyanka. Apart from this, when the host asked how she felt when people were talking about the big age difference between Priyanka and Nick, Madhu Chopra said that she does not care about such anonymous voices.
