‘He was my strength, we were together for 30 years’
Recalling his more than 30-year relationship with Ian Gelder, Ben further wrote, ‘I had stopped all my work to take care of him, but neither of us had any idea that it would all happen so soon. . He was my strength and we were each other’s partners for more than 30 years. Meanwhile, even if we were not together, we would talk to each other every day. He was the kindest, most generous soul and very loving person.
