Sharad Kelkar told that Deepika Padukone danced for 11 days despite the injury.

“Deepika was dancing barefoot and had bruises on her feet. She shot for 11 days with everything taped off and was in pain.”
Sharad told that Deepika helped him shoot the dance scene after his knee surgery
Sharad Kelkar performed Garba dance. However, the actor had previously undergone knee surgery. As a result, he found it difficult to perform the steps correctly. At that time, Deepika Padukone stayed behind and helped him learn and perform the steps. Recalling the help provided by Deepika, Sharad said:
“At that time I had a knee surgery and we were shooting for the song – Lahu Muh Lag Gaya. I had to sit and do garba. My physio told me, ‘You can’t sit because you have just had a surgery, you can’t bend below 90 degrees.’ I was unable to do it. Because of the pain caused by the surgery, I couldn’t do it. But I remember once I was completely lost and couldn’t remember the steps of the song. It was lunch time and Deepika stayed there and she taught me. She said, ‘You can do it. I will teach you.’ Somehow I managed to do it and she was so sweet.’”
Sharad Kelkar is keen to play different kinds of roles
Apart from acting, Sharad Kelkar has also achieved success as a voice-over artist and has become the voice of some of the most famous characters. “I am good at dubbing, but that doesn’t mean I will only do a certain kind of role that requires a good voice.
