“For several years, each month during my cycle, I would sever ties with this person,” she explained. “Initially, he was bewildered, but as time passed, his response turned into a nonchalant ‘Yeah, okay,’ knowing well that in two days, I would be back, contrite and tearful. The extremity of my mental state baffled me.”

In addition, Janhvi addressed rumors of her marital prospects with Shikhar Paharia, which have recently gone viral.

Regarding her forthcoming cinematic venture ‘Uljhan,’ Janhvi Kapoor assumes the role of a young diplomat ensnared in a web of conspiracy during a pivotal assignment at the London embassy.

Reflecting on her role, Janhvi shared, “This film holds immense significance for me, as I embark on the challenging portrayal of a diplomat for the first time. It has been an enlightening and humbling journey. Collaborating with Sudhanshu Saria has been profoundly enriching, pushing me beyond my comfort zones. Suhana’s character is a potent blend of strength and complexity, resonating deeply with me, which allowed for an earnest portrayal.”

The ensemble cast of ‘Uljhan’ includes Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. Penned by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, the film is slated for release on August 2, 2024.
