South Central Railway (SCR) Recruitment 2023: Technician, Assistant Loco Pilot, Junior Engineer Posts

South Central Railway has recently issued a notification for the recruitment of Technician, Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), and Junior Engineer posts. Pay Scale:

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2024):
Candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, and Junior Engineer must fall within the age bracket of 18 to 42 years as of 01/01/2024. However, there is relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories. The details are as follows:
- SC / ST: 47 Years
- OBC: 45 Years
Educational Qualification:
- Assistant Loco Pilot: Candidates must have completed 10th and ITI in specified trades OR possess a Diploma in a relevant discipline. B.E/B.Tech qualifications are also acceptable in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering.
- Technician: Candidates should have passed 10th and possess ITI in specified trades. Alternatively, candidates with Matriculation / SSLC along with a Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the mentioned trades are also eligible.
- Junior Engineer: Candidates must have completed a Diploma in a relevant discipline.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the Technician, Assistant Loco Pilot, and Junior Engineer posts will involve the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Document Verification / Medical Examination
