Pay Scale: Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary as per Government Rules.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2024):
To be eligible for the Assistant Loco Pilot / Technician / Junior Engineer / Train Manager posts, candidates must fulfill the following age limit as of 01/01/2024:
- Assistant Loco Pilot / Technician / Junior Engineer / Train Manager: 18 to 42 Years
Age Relaxation:
There is relaxation in the upper age limit for SC / ST / OBC candidates. The details are as follows:
- SC / ST: 47 Years
- OBC: 45 Years
Educational Qualification:
The required educational qualifications for each post are as follows:
- Assistant Loco Pilot:
- Candidates must have passed 10th and ITI in specified trades or
- Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
- Diploma in a relevant discipline. B.E/B.Tech is also acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.
- Technician:
- Candidates must have passed 10th and ITI in specified trades. OR
- Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
- Junior Engineer:
- Candidates must have completed Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Train Manager:
- Candidates should have completed a Graduate Degree from a Recognized University or its equivalent recognized by Govt. Of India.
Selection Process:
The selection process will involve the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification / Medical Examination
