WB Police Constable Apply Online 2024:
The WBPRB will conduct the WB Police Constable Online Application process starting from 7th March 2024. Applications can be submitted on the WBPRB portal www.prb.wb.gov.in or the WB Police portal www.wbpolice.gov.in.
WB Police Constable Application Fee:
- All categories except SC/ST (West Bengal): Rs. 150 (Application Fee) + Rs. 20 (Processing Fee) = Rs. 170
- Scheduled Caste (West Bengal only): Nil (Application Fee) + Rs. 20 (Processing Fee) = Rs. 20
- Scheduled Tribe (West Bengal only): Nil (Application Fee) + Rs. 20 (Processing Fee) = Rs. 20
WBP Constable Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
1. Age Limit (As on 01/01/2024):
- General: 30 years old
- Scheduled Castes (SC): Up to 35 years old
- Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes-A (OBC-A): Up to 33 years old
- Other Backward Classes-B (OBC-B), Third Gender, Civic Volunteers/Village Police Volunteers, NVF/Home Guards Personnel (West Bengal): As per existing Government Rules
- Ex-servicemen: Total years of completed service, maximum 40 years
2. Educational Qualification:
- Completed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the Bengali language (waived for permanent residents of the hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts).
