SSC Stenographer Salary – Grade C:

• SSC Stenographer Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300 – Rs. 34,800
• Pay Band: 4,200 or 4,600 (Pay Grade 2)
• Initial Salary: Rs. 5,200
• SSC Stenographer Basic Salary Grade C: Rs. 14,500

SSC Stenographer Salary – Grade D:

• SSC Stenographer Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200
• Pay Band: 2,400 (Pay grade 1)
• Initial Salary: Rs. 5,200
• SSC Stenographer Basic Salary Grade D: Rs. 7,600

SSC Stenographer Age Limit:

The age limit for the posts of Stenographer Grade C and Stenographer Grade D in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations is as follows:

• Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Candidates born not before 02/08/1993 and not later than 01/08/2005 are eligible to apply.
• Stenographer Grade ‘D’: Candidates born not before 02/08/1996 and not later than 01/08/2005 are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation:

• Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 03 years
• Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof: 03 years & 08 years (SC/ST)

Educational Qualification (as on 23/08/2023):

Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. Additionally, candidates must possess skills in Stenography to be eligible for the posts.

Selection Process:

The selection process for SSC Stenographer includes the following stages:

1. Online Exam (CBT: Computer Based Test)
2. Skill Test
3. Document Verification

Application Fee:

The application fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards. Alternatively, candidates can pay the fee in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Female candidates or candidates of Scheduled Caste (SC), a Scheduled Tribe (ST), or an Ex-Serviceman (ESM) are exempted from paying the fee. The application fee details are as follows:

A candidate must be either –

1. A Citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or

5. People of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
