Pay Scale: Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary as per Government Rules.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2024): Candidates must fulfill the following age limit criteria as on 01/01/2024 to be eligible for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Technician, Junior Engineer, and Train Manager posts:
- Assistant Loco Pilot / Technician / Junior Engineer / Train Manager: 18 to 42 Years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates as follows:
- SC/ST: 47 Years
- OBC: 45 Years
Educational Qualification: Candidates should meet the following educational qualifications to apply for the respective posts:
- Assistant Loco Pilot:
- 10th pass and ITI in specified trades or
- Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the specified trades or
- Diploma in a relevant discipline. B.E/B.Tech also accepted in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.
- Technician:
- 10th pass and ITI in specified trades or
- Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the specified trades.
- Junior Engineer:
- Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Train Manager:
- Any Graduate Degree.
Selection Process: The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
