Railway TTE Recruitment 2024: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of Indian Railways has announced vacancies for more than 8000 Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) posts. Railway TTE Recruitment Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation or Intermediate examination or completed Diploma from a recognized Board. Post wise educational qualification for RRB Group C posts will be available in the official notification.
Application fee – Rs 500 for General and OBC categories & Rs 300 for SC/ST category. Application fee is subject to change so wait for official notification regarding fee confirmation.
Selection Process – Selection for Ticket Collector, Goods Guard, Clerk posts will be based on Online Examination and Personality Test. There will be a physical test for the goods guard post.
TTE (Travel Ticket Examiner) : TTE is the traveling ticket examiner. This is a post in Indian Railways. After completion of 12th a candidate can apply for this post. There are different zones for Indian Railways depending on the region. Railway Recruitment Boards of various railway zones frequently conduct TTE examination.
To become a TTE you have to appear in this examination. After clearing the exam you will have to undergo interview and medical examination. Then you can work as a TTE.
The eligibility criteria to appear in TTE exam is that candidates must have minimum 50% marks and the candidate must hold Indian citizenship.
