Story of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
In this third part, the story connects back to events from 200 years ago. Today, Meera (played by Tripti Dimri), who comes from the royal family of Raktghat, blackmails Ruhaan, also known as Rooh Baba (Kartik Aaryan), into visiting her haunted mansion. She needs him to help free her family from the curse of Manjulika, a ghost who has kept the family living in fear and poverty. Although Meera and her uncle know that Ruhaan is not a real ghostbuster, her father Vijay Raj and the royal priest believe that he might be able to break the curse and save their family.

As the story progresses, Vidya Balan, playing an archaeologist, and Madhuri Dixit, as a member of the royal family, arrive at the mansion. Their arrival brings new, spooky events that make the mystery of Manjulika even more confusing. The question remains: Can Rooh Baba truly free the family from this curse, or will Manjulika’s ghost keep haunting them?
Movie Review of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
Anees Bazmee, who has been directing for over three decades, has adapted to new trends with this horror-comedy. Although the first half of the film feels slow as the story builds, it picks up speed after the interval, balancing comedy and horror scenes effectively. The pre-climax builds suspense, and the final twist is likely to surprise viewers. Technically, the movie is strong, with effective VFX to make the scary scenes more intense. The set design is well done, though the music sometimes interrupts the story. However, the dance number featuring Madhuri and Vidya in Aami Je Tomar is memorable. The title track Bhool Bhulaiyaa has also become popular on music charts.
Performances
Kartik Aaryan does a good job as Rooh Baba, bringing energy to his character. Vidya Balan, returning as Manjulika, delivers a powerful performance. Madhuri Dixit’s appearance in a special role adds depth to the story, and Tripti Dimri stands out with her glamorous look. The trio of Rajpal Yadav as Chhote Pandit, Ashwini Kalsekar as Panditain, and Sanjay Mishra as Bade Pandit provides a strong dose of comedy. Vijay Raj also brings a unique charm to his character.
Why to Watch
If you enjoy lighthearted horror-comedies that are fun for the whole family, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 delivers the right balance of humor and suspense.
